About Separator

From the moment I discovered a dusty old copy of Madeleine L’Engle’s A Wrinkle In Time, buried in a closet at my grandparents’ house, I’ve loved fantasy stories and the escape they provide. At long last, I’d found a proper use for my overactive imagination. Now I write my own tales of enchantment and wonder for middle grade readers.

Even though people tried to talk me out of it, I majored in Creative Writing in college. They said I’d never get a high paying job; I said there was literally nothing else I wanted to do in this world. That’s a choice I’ve never regretted.

I live in New Hampshire with my husband and two rescue dogs. If I’m not writing, you’ll probably find me practicing my guitar, planning my next tattoo, or dreaming about Disney World.
